2020 March 19 Little Marlow - King's Head

Wetter than expected. Described by some as "pizzle" (persistent drizzle). There were two walks plotted, the idea being that one would be picked at the start. We ended up with a route that combined bits of both. The map here is what we actually did and replaces everything else. Quite muddy over much of the course but nothing like as deep as last week.

Seven of us (and Jinks) started the walk, Nigel, Kate and Jinks covering plan2 only, leaving early and not stopping for lunch. Richard left us at Spade Oak Lane and again didn't lunch. Just four of us remained and carried on to Bourne End mariner. One more left before lunch and three more had arrived in the pub by the time we got back. Although not as busy as usual, there were other people in the King's Head so it felt OK. Ale of choice (for me, at least) was Rebellion "Slipstream".
