Cool but no actual rain, although it was predicted for later in the day. The ground is still very wet making
the going very slow for much of the course. On the return leg, the walk along the ridge was pleasantly dry
with great views over Tring. Two and a dog took a shorter route that missed the ridge. We got back to the
Greyhound at around 1235.
Nine of us were on the walk and were joined by two more in the pub. Quite busy and efficient staff, food came without much delay. A spacious and well run place. There were three ales on but we all chose the same: Tring Side Pocket which was in excellent condition.
There are fewer pictures today as my camera decided it didn't like the SD card; rendering it useless.
