A cool but surprisingly bright day. Sunny for most of the walk. In the woods, the ground
was very boggy in places and pools of water were to be found at inconvenient points. Still
plenty of fungi around.
Seven of us completed the walk - no short cuts or deviations. Four more and one cyclist joined us for lunch. Two beers on offer; Timothy Taylors Landlord and St. Austell Tribute. Although food and ales were a little limited, service was excellent (they know us quite well now) and the atmosphere is of a proper old country pub.
