The day was "cloudy bright" as they say in the old Kodak box brownie camera manual. Dry,
little wind and about 10C. Fairly hilly but we seemed to hack around quite quickly as we got
back to the Crown by about 1210. Not much in the way of points of interest. The usual two
and a dog took a shorter route along the Chiltern Way and we caught them up as we were leaving
Twelve enjoyed the walk and another four joined us in the pub. It seems to have shrunk a bit as we more or less filled it. There were a few other people in, of course. Most of us were eating sandwiches which were quite big - just as well at £7.00! Two Rebellion ales on: IPA and Zebedee. I think we were all on the IPA but it wasn't quite up to scratch in my opinion.
