2019 September 26 Wycombe Marsh -
General Havelock

Eight of us and one bionic dog walked the well trodden paths of Wycombe Marsh in very pleasant sunshine. I’ve not seen it this dry at this time of year in spite of the recent rains. The streams were running low with clear water. Spent a some time at the water mill with the newly restored wheel. The mill pond needs digging out though.

Six more joined the group at “The General Havelock” which was very welcoming with excellent food and swift service. Beers were mainly from Fuller’s (owned by Asahi) and most people went for either Fuller’s “Front Row” or Dark Star “Partridge” which I liked. A good day.
