2019 September 5 Marsworth - Red Lion

Cool to start and windy. But it soon warmed up. Most of the walk was along the Grand Union Canal and the Wendover Arm and the three canal reservoirs. They are also nature reserves. Note the picture of the two king fishers. We got back by about 1220.

Just five diehards started the walk, were met three quarters of the way round by one more and Jinks coming the other way. And just one more in the pub. A lovely pub, this; old, different floor levels, cobbled at ground level and excellent ales. Harvey's Sussex Best was probably the most popular.
