Mostly sunny with lumps of cloud. It started raining at one point but as we were under the
trees, we didn't get wet. The walk was essentially down towards the river then up again. Two
and a dog took a short cut that lopped off a good third of the course. Usual 4½ miles in 1h 55m.
Nine of us began the walk and when we returned, another five were in the pub. Actually, under an awning in the pub garden. Two beers on offer, everyone was on Brakspears Bitter (first drink on Nigel - cheers!). I don't remember the other one so it clearly wasn't "approved". It was well kept and the food and service were good.
