A bright, sunny day with temperatures high enough that we didn't need to wear a coat.
Following the Misbourne down past Shardeloes, looped round the cricket pitch and up the
lane behind the estate. The woods beyond the sub-station was where we found the blue bells,
now just past their best. No deviations and got back for 1235.
Twelve began the walk but four dropped out as we approached the cricket pitch and returned the way we had come. Three more and two cyclists joined us for lunch in the back garden. As far as I know, all those who drank ale were drinking Tring "Side Pocket".
