Cold, just above zero. Some light rain to start with. A lot of mud still frozen which made the going
a bit better. There was a steep concrete drive near Penman's Green which was a bit treacherous
(one member slipped and fell) but that was the only bad bit. We cut off the loop by Jeffery's Farm
by common consent as we were getting a bit behind so about 4 miles. Arrived back by 1227.
Seven started the walk with one late arrival catching us up near Commonwood Common. Another five joined us in the pub for lunch. Brains (ex Buckleys) "Rev James" was most popular and Doombar and GK IPA were also available. Inexpensive but good food and well kept ales. Another top pub.
