A cold but bright sunny day, for a change. A bit damp under foot in places. A lot of
woodland, some inclines (we are on the edge of the lesser Wye Valley) and some road,
especially towards the end.
There were eleven and one dog on the walk and four more (and one left) in the pub. This is a very popular and busy pub. A little cramped (more than was booked for) but service and food was excellent. A wide range of ales but I stuck to one of my favourites, Rebellion "Roasted Nuts". "HPA" from (greater) Wye Valley Brewery was also popular.
