2017 August 24 Marlow Bottom -
Three Horseshoes

Cloudy with some sunshine, dry and mild. A bit hilly, which is not surprising as we are on the side of a valley dropping towards the river Thames. Not a huge amount of visual interest hence not many pictures. About 4.7 miles in the usual two hours.

Six of us started the walk with one more joining us near his house. No dogs, no cyclists. Four more joined us for lunch. This pub is quite roomy and reasonably busy and a little up market. It is probably the closest pub to the Rebellion Brewery so they were serving a number of Rebellion Ales. Blonde was the most popular but I had an IPA followed by a Rocket. Very good.
