2016 November 17 Sarratt - Cock Inn

Cloudy but mild with the odd burst of sunshine. It threw it down whilst we were enjoying lunch in the pub. A most enjoyable walk that included woodland, river and proper villages. Clearly horse country too. 4.9 miles in 2h 5mins.

Not a huge group with seven and one dog starting the walk. Two deviants and dog diverted about ¾ of the way around and two more deviants diverted in Sarratt village. Just three puritans were left to follow the path of righteousness. Five more joined us for lunch. Surprisingly busy pub but food was good and all went well. Three Badger ales on offer plus a King & Barnes "Suffolk" which is what most people stuck with as it was quite light (and good). Excellent pub.
