2016 May 05 Bledlow - Lions of

Sunny and mild, warming. Proper spring day for a change. Route had to be heavily modified as there was no way across the horse paddocks at Hinton. The path was blocked in several places. We backtracked to the road and on past the Peacock to Skittle Green then took the most direct route back to Bledlow. The Tricorder went into a sulk and lost lock near Henton requiring a genesis reset, so no accurate mileage but must be around 5 miles as we arrived just after 1230.

Seven were on the walk with two and four cyclists joining in the Lions. A splendid old pub with a choice of ales. Tring "Give me sunshine" was most popular until it ran out. A St. Austell was OK but lacked character so finished with Wadworth "St. George" which was surprisingly good.
