2016 April 7 Aldbury - Valiant Trooper

Cold, damp, gusty with a perpetual drizzle throughout the walk. The walk was good, being in new country, especially up and along the ridge. Tricorder made it 5.3 miles in 2 hours 5 mins. Four puritans stuck to the way of righteousness and the deviants made it back to the pub before us.

Ten and two dogs commenced the walk with one and one cyclist joining us later. We had a table in the new dining area, well served, good food and a choice of five real ales. Leighton Buzzard "Narrow Gauge" was popular although I found it too hoppy and stuck to Tring "Side Pocket". Top marks all round.
