Cold start with frozen mud making the going reasonable. The sun came out half way round
and the temperature rose significantly and melted the mud. We met some friendly horses on the way
including those miniature ones that look so cute. Regulation 5 miles in 2 hours.
Eleven on the walk and three more joined us in the pub. We've been here many times as it is a good reliable place.
Ten ales available and it seemed to be the Wye Valley "HPA" and Otter bitter prevailing. I would have liked
some Rebellion "Roasted Nuts" and there was a red ale that needed trying but no time or room.
